Arabic Numbers Converter (١٢٣ ↔ 123)
Change Arabic-Indic digits (١٢٣) and Persian digits (۱۲۳) to Western digits (123), or Western digits to Arabic, in any text.
Result
Phone numbers, prices and IDs typed on an Arabic keyboard often come out as ٠٥٥١٢٣٤٥٦٧, which many forms, Excel and websites do not accept. Paste the text and every digit is changed to 123, or the other way round.
Persian digits (۱۲۳), which look slightly different, are recognised too. Only the digits change; the rest of the text stays the same. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
How to use it
- Paste the text or number.
- Choose to Western digits (123) or to Arabic digits (١٢٣).
- Press Copy.
Questions
What is the difference between ١٢٣ and 123?
They are the same numbers written with different digits: ٠١٢٣٤٥٦٧٨٩ are the Arabic-Indic digits used in much of the Arab world, and 0123456789 are the Western (often called “English”) digits. Many websites and forms accept only 0–9.
What are Persian digits?
Digits used in Persian and Urdu (۰۱۲۳۴۵۶۷۸۹). ۴, ۵ and ۶ look different from the Arabic ٤, ٥ and ٦, and computers treat them as different characters. The tool changes both to Western digits.
Are the decimal point and thousands separator changed?
Yes, when changing to Western digits the Arabic decimal mark (٫) becomes . and the thousands mark (٬) becomes ,. They are left as they are when changing to Arabic digits.
Is my text saved?
No. Everything happens in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
