Many businesses buy the .com and, if possible, the .om as well and point both to the same website.
Other endings
Endings like .co, .store or .online are cheaper but less familiar. For a GCC business serving several countries, .com is usually the safest choice.
Buy it in your own name
Always register the domain in your or your company's name with your own email. If a designer registers it in their name, you may struggle to get it back later.
Watch renewal prices
