10 Common Website Problems and How to Fix Them – guide by arafatbin.com

Small problems on a website can quietly cost you customers. Many are quick to fix once you know what to look for. Here are ten we see most often.

1. Contact form messages never arrive

Often the emails go to spam or the form has no proper sending setup. Test your form, check spam, and use a reliable form service.

2. "Not secure" in the browser

Your SSL certificate is missing or expired, or some images still load over http. Install SSL and force https.

3. Broken links and 404 pages

Pages that were moved or deleted leave dead links. Fix them or redirect old addresses to the new pages.

4. Layout broken on mobile

Text too small, buttons off the screen or images overflowing. Most visitors in the Gulf use phones, so this matters a lot.

5. Old prices or phone numbers

Outdated details lose trust and sales. Check prices, hours and contact details every month.

6. Slow loading

Usually caused by large images or too many plugins. Compress images and remove what you do not need.

7. WhatsApp button opens the wrong number

The link must use the full international number without + or spaces, like wa.me/9689XXXXXXX.

8. Images not showing

A wrong file name, capital letters or a deleted file. Check the exact path.

9. Website not on Google

The site may be blocked by a "noindex" setting or missing from Search Console. Check both.

10. Plugin or update errors

An update can break a page. Always take a backup before updating.
