Prime Video's own series are the main reason many people subscribe. These Amazon originals are made for Prime Video, so you will find them in almost every country, including Oman. Here are 12 of the best Prime Video shows, from superheroes and fantasy to comedy and romance.
1. The Boys
What if superheroes were famous, rich and completely corrupt? The Boys follows a small group of ordinary people fighting the world's most powerful heroes, led by the terrifying Homelander. It is violent, funny and very sharp, and its college spin-off Gen V is great too. For adults only.
2. Fallout
Based on the famous video games, Fallout follows Lucy, played by Ella Purnell, who leaves her safe underground vault and steps into a destroyed Los Angeles 200 years after a nuclear war. Walton Goggins steals every scene as the Ghoul. You do not need to know the games to love it.
3. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
Set thousands of years before The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, The Rings of Power shows how the rings were made and how Sauron rose. It is one of the most expensive series ever made, and every episode looks like a film. Start here if you love Middle-earth.
4. Invincible
Mark is the teenage son of the world's strongest superhero, and when his own powers arrive, he learns a shocking secret about his father. Invincible is animated, with Steven Yeun and J. K. Simmons as voices, but it is not for kids: it is one of the most surprising superhero stories on any service.

Rosamund Pike plays Moiraine, a powerful magic user who takes five young people from a small village on a dangerous journey, believing one of them is the Dragon Reborn who will save or destroy the world.
